Las Vegas may be a city filled with secrets (after all, what goes on in Vegas stays in Vegas), but one sleek attraction is simply too cool to remain hidden in the shadows. And it’s nothing to do with gambling.
Saved within the Cosmopolitan, sits a fresh bar and barbershop concept called, what else, The Barbershop Cuts and Cocktails.
During the day, Town & Country reported, the room, which opened its doors on March 25, is home to a three-chair barbershop, staffed by New York master barber Jose Sosa. Walk-ins are welcome though we’d recommend making an appointment beforehand as this place will undoubtedly become overwhelmingly popular fast.
At the shop, guests will get a classic cut, a mustache trim or straight razor shave. With each treatment guests will also get the chance to sip on a complimentary collection of whiskey and beer.
But, once sunlight falls, the entire space transforms in to a speakeasy harkening back to a different era of los angeles escorts nightlife.
To get to the speakeasy one must enter through the door marked “Janitor.” Inside, Town & Country explained, guests will undoubtedly be greeted with a vintage 1800’s mahogany bar from Kentucky, which serves up a small but efficient list of whiskey and bourbon cocktails along side additional craft liquors, beer and wine.
“We have a relatively small cocktail selection, but we wanted to focus on our spirit selection, therefore the menu includes more scotch, whiskey and bourbons,” Ryan Labbe, from Clique Hospitality, who is overseeing the project, shared with Maxim. “The whiskey selection is vast, about four pages long just on whiskey from all over the world.”
After grabbing a glass or two guests can kick back and relax in one of many space’s plush leather chairs or couches and benefit from the entertainment. At the speakeasy, an ever changing list of bands and DJs will undoubtedly be readily available, though, on Tuesdays guests will do the entertaining as at karaoke night.
Then when you need a cut, a cocktail, or a rest from the crowds, try sneaking into The Barbershop Cuts and Cocktails. Just try to keep the speakeasy a key from here on out.
